That Holy Spirit guides the believer into all the truth.

The Jews had the truth by the Spirit they failed to depend upon Him to interpret it for many years, so they went down the wrong path. The whole evangelical house of worship recognizes the utter lack of of man's righteousness, theoretically at the very least. Now it needs to be taught and made to feel the utter insufficiency of individual's wisdom. That is possibly the lesson that this 19th century of overweening intellectual conceit needs a lot of any.
